Ge 7:23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only REMAINED [], and they that were with him in the ark.

2Ki 19:30 And the REMNANT that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.

Ge 32:8 And said, If Esau come to the one company, and smite it, then the other company which is LEFT shall escape.

Mic 5:7 And the REMNANT of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.


SUMMARY: Apparently, in the separation of wheat and tares that comes after the tribulation, the believers are the ones LEFT. They escape the judgment that comes on the unsaved church Babylon. They are not "left behind" as is often the worldly picture; this is a spiritual separation, not a literal rapture.
