Husband and Wife

Ge 3:16  Unto the WOMAN he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to thy HUSBAND, and he shall rule over thee.

Ge 4:6-7  And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?...  If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto THEE [shall be] HIS desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Jer 3:20  Surely [as] a WIFE treacherously departeth from her HUSBAND, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD.

1Co 7:15  But if the UNBELIEVING depart, let him depart. A BROTHER or a SISTER is not under bondage in such [cases]: but God hath called us to peace.

1Ti 4:1  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Eph 5:25  HUSBANDS, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Tit 1:6  If any be blameless, the HUSBAND of one WIFE, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.

1Co 7:39  The WIFE is bound by the law as long as her HUSBAND liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

1Co 7:3  Let the HUSBAND render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the WIFE unto the husband.

Eze 16:32  [But as] a WIFE that committeth adultery, [which] taketh strangers instead of her HUSBAND!

Ho 2:2  Plead with your mother, plead: for she [is] not my WIFE, neither [I] her HUSBAND: let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts;

Jer 6:11  Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the HUSBAND with the WIFE, the aged with [him that is] full of days.

Heb 13:4  Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Re 2:22  Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. SUMMARY: Apparently "husband and wife" is a type of the church that's supposed to love and care for its own. So the wife's DESIRE to the husband is what's expected of the CHURCH that rules over the BODY.
