Prosperity of the Wicked

 

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of PEACE.

Jer 29:7 And seek the PEACE of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.

Job 36:11 If they obey and serve {}, they shall spend their days in PROSPERITY, and their years in PLEASURES.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the WAY, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Ro 3:17 And the WAY OF PEACE have they not known:

Isa 48:22 There is no PEACE, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.

Jer 9:8 Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh PEACEABLY to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait.

Ps 28:3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak PEACE to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

Ge 37:4 And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak PEACEABLY unto him.

Da 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in PEACEABLY, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

De 23:6 Thou shalt not seek their PEACE nor their PROSPERITY all thy days for ever.

Pr 3:31 Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his WAYS.

Ps 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who PROSPERETH in his WAY, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Job 21:7 Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are MIGHTY IN POWER?

Da 8:24 And his POWER shall be MIGHTY, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

Jer 12:1 Righteous art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the WAY of the wicked PROSPER? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?

SUMMARY: Apparently, God is associating prosperity or peace with Christ. Therefore not to envy or desire the prosperity of the wicked would be a command not to partake of false gospels or false christs.
