The Former Shall not be Remembered
Eze 3:20 Again, When a righteous doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall NOT BE REMEMBERED; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Eze 25:10 Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may NOT BE REMEMBERED among the nations.
Re 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were PASSED AWAY; and there was no more sea.
Re 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for THE FORMER things are PASSED AWAY.
Jer 3:16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it COME TO MIND: neither shall they REMEMBER IT; neither shall they visit [it]; neither shall [that] be done any more.
Hag 2:9 The glory of this LATTER HOUSE shall be greater than of THE FORMER, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
SUMMARY: Apparently FORMER THINGS appear to be a reference to the unsaved church babylon in the day of judgment. She is remembered no more in that the time for repentance is over and she remains in tribulation. Unlike the Elect, she does not come out of babylon.
