The Former Shall not be Remembered

 

Isa 65:17  For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall NOT BE REMEMBERED, nor come into mind.

Eze 33:13  When I shall say to the righteous, [] he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall NOT BE REMEMBERED; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.


Eze 3:20  Again, When a righteous [] doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall NOT BE REMEMBERED; but his blood will I require at thine hand.


Eze 25:10  Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may NOT BE REMEMBERED among the nations.


Re 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were PASSED AWAY; and there was no more sea.


Re 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for THE FORMER things are PASSED AWAY.


Jer 3:16  And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it COME TO MIND: neither shall they REMEMBER IT; neither shall they visit [it]; neither shall [that] be done any more.


Ps 137:5  If I FORGET THEE, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget [].

Ps 137:6  If I do NOT REMEMBER THEE, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

Isa 43:18  REMEMBER YE NOT THE FORMER THINGS, neither consider the things of old.

Isa 42:9  Behold, the FORMER THINGS are COME TO PASS, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Hag 2:9  The glory of this LATTER HOUSE shall be greater than of THE FORMER, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.



SUMMARY: Apparently FORMER THINGS appear to be a reference to the unsaved church babylon in the day of judgment. She is remembered no more in that the time for repentance is over and she remains in tribulation. Unlike the Elect, she does not come out of babylon.
