Adding to Prophecy

 
Re 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall ADD UNTO these things, God shall ADD UNTO HIM the PLAGUES that are written in this BOOK:

Re 22:19 And if any man shall TAKE AWAY from the words of the BOOK of this prophecy, God shall TAKE AWAY his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

De 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt NOT ADD thereto, nor DIMINISH FROM IT.

De 4:2 Ye shall NOT ADD unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye DIMINISH ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. De 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS and his statutes which I command thee this day; that ALL THESE CURSES shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

De 28:59 Then the LORD will make thy PLAGUES wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.

Jer 26:2 Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD’S house, and SPEAK unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’S house, ALL THE WORDS that I command thee to speak unto them; DIMINISH not a word:

Re 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and KEEP THOSE THINGS which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Jos 8:34 And afterward he read all the words of the law, the BLESSINGS and CURSINGS, according to all that is WRITTEN IN THE BOOK of the law.

Jer 23:28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word FAITHFULLY. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.

Jer 23:32 Behold, I am against them that PROPHESY FALSE DREAMS, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

Jer 27:15 For I have not sent them, saith the LORD, yet they PROPHESY A LIE in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.

Jer 23:25 I have heard what the prophets said, that PROPHESY LIES in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

Eze 13:16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see VISIONS OF PEACE for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.

Eze 7:26 Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a VISION of the prophet; but the LAW shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.

2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them STRONG DELUSION, that they should BELIEVE A LIE:

Pr 30:6 ADD THOU NOT unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found A LIAR.

SUMMARY: Apparently ADDING or TAKING AWAY from the Word is to bring lies & false dreams (false gospels). It does not necessarily relate to those who come with "supernatural" activities. God sends apostles and prophets for correction but they are often killed spiritually.
