SUMMARY: Apparently "Cleansing the Land" is pointing to God's judgment on the unsaved church, Babylon. In tribulation, false prophets and false christs shed the blood (killed) the Body by silencing the Elect. After the tribulation, God avenges the blood of the Elect by allowing the unsaved church to destroy itself with their false gospels.
