Who is Tempting Whom?

GOD CREATES THE TESTING ARENA

Ge 3:1  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, HATH GOD SAID, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Ge 22:1  And it came to pass after these things, that GOD DID TEMPT Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, [here] I [am].

Job 2:6  And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, HE [is] IN THINE HAND; but save his life.

Mt 4:1  Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be TEMPTED of the devil.

Heb 4:15  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points TEMPTED like as [we are, yet] without sin.

1Pe 4:12  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the FIERY TRIAL which is to TRY YOU, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

LUSTING AFTER FALSE GOSPELS IS SAID TO BE "TEMPTING GOD"

Heb 3:8  Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of TEMPTATION in the wilderness:

Heb 3:9  When your fathers TEMPTED me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

Jas 1:13  Let no man say when he is TEMPTED, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

Jas 1:14  But every man is tempted, when he is DRAWN AWAY OF HIS OWN LUST, and enticed.

2Ti 4:3  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but AFTER THEIR OWN LUSTS SHALL THEY HEAP TO THEMSELVES TEACHERS, HAVING ITCHING EARS;

2Pe 3:3  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, WALKING AFTER THEIR OWN LUSTS,

Jude 1:16  These are murmurers, complainers, walking AFTER THEIR OWN LUSTS; and their mouth speaketh great swelling [words], having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.

Mt 19:3  The Pharisees also came unto him, TEMPTING HIM, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

Mt 4:7  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, THOU SHALT NOT TEMPT the Lord thy God.

REDEEMPTION: THE ELECT COME OUT OF TRIBULATION / TEMPTATION / BABYLON...  

Re 3:10  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will KEEP THEE from the HOUR OF TEMPTATION, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

1Co 10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will NOT SUFFER YOU TO BE TEMPTED ABOVE THAT YE ARE ABLE; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].

Re 7:14  And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which CAME OUT OF GREAT TRIBULATION, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

1Sa 26:24  And, behold, as thy life was much set by this day in mine eyes, so let my life be much set by in the eyes of the LORD, and let him DELIVER ME OUT OF ALL TRIBULATION.

Re 18:4  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, COME OUT OF HER, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

UNSAVED CHURCH, BABYLON, TEMPTS GOD, FAILS THE TEST AND REMAINS UNDER JUDGMENT

2Th 1:6  Seeing [it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense TRIBULATION to them that trouble you;

Re 2:22  Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into GREAT TRIBULATION, EXCEPT THEY REPENT of their deeds.

Jud 10:14  Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; LET THEM DELIVER YOU IN THE TIME OF YOUR TRIBULATION.

Ro 2:9  TRIBULATION AND ANGUISH, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, OF THE JEW FIRST, and ALSO OF THE GENTILE;

SUMMARY: Apparently, GOD sets up the testing ground for the Church which started with Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. There are only two outcomes for these tests: Pass or Fail. Fail means the church will lust after EVIL/SIN/FALSEHOOD and is said to "tempting" God. Pass means SALVATINO/REDEMPTION: The church is delivered from TRIAL/TRIBULATION.
