Killing the Body

Mt 10:28 And fear not **them** which KILL THE BODY, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Jer 46:8 **Egypt** riseth up like a flood, and [his] waters are moved like the rivers; and he saith, I will go up, [and] will cover the earth; I will DESTROY THE CITY and the inhabitants thereof.

Da 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the **people of the prince** that shall come shall DESTROY THE CITY and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Hab 2:12 Woe to **him** that buildeth a town WITH BLOOD, and stablisheth a city by iniquity!

Mt 23:37 O **Jerusalem, Jerusalem**, [thou] that KILLEST THE PROPHETS, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under [her] wings, and ye would not!

Re 16:6 For **they** have SHED THE BLOOD OF SAINTS and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

Re 17:6 And I saw **the woman** drunken with the BLOOD OF THE SAINTS, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

Re 18:24 And in **her** was found the BLOOD OF PROPHETS, and of saints, and of all that were SLAIN upon the earth.

Re 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge OUR BLOOD on **them that dwell on the earth?**

Isa 1:21 How is the **faithful city** become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now MURDERERS.

SUMMARY: Apparently, "Killing the BODY" is parabolic language for the death of the BODY of Christ. This happens in tribulation as God allows the Church to be overrun with false gospels and false prophets. But at the revelation of Christ (Unsealing of the Bible) the Elect receive spiritual understanding and are separated from these false prophets.
