At the DOORS

 How does this phrase relate to the church in tribulation? Let's examine.



Mt 24:32  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is NIGH:

Mt 24:33  So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is NEAR, {} AT THE DOORS.

Joh 10:9  I am THE DOOR: by me if any man <<enter in>>, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Re 22:14  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may <<enter in>> through THE GATES into the city.

Re 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open THE DOOR, I will <<come in to him>>, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Re 21:25  And THE GATES of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

Col 4:3  Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a DOOR OF UTTERANCE, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

Pr 8:3  She (wisdom) crieth AT THE GATES, at the entry of the city, at the coming in AT THE DOORS.

Heb 13:12  Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without THE GATE.

Ge 4:7  If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth AT THE DOOR. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Jud 19:22  Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat AT THE DOOR, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.

Ex 12:22  And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out AT THE DOOR of his house until the morning.

Ge 19:9  And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came NEAR to break THE DOOR.

Ge 19:6  And Lot went out AT THE DOOR unto them, and shut the door after him,

Ge 19:11  And they smote the men that were AT THE DOOR of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

Eph 4:18  Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Lu 13:25  When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to THE DOOR, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

Mt 25:10  And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the DOOR WAS SHUT.

Le 1:3  If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will AT THE DOOR of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.

Ex 29:42  This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations AT THE DOOR of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee.

Eze 46:3  Likewise the people of the land shall worship AT THE DOOR of this gate before the LORD in the sabbaths and in the new moons.

Ac 5:9  Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are AT THE DOOR, and shall carry thee out.

Zec 11:1  Open THY DOORS, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.


The Bible appears to be equating the phrase at the doors to the church in tribulation. The DOOR is Christ, then the coming of the Lord being at the doors would point the killing of the two witness and the death of the old body of Christ.
