Many read the Bible in search of signs pointing to the timing of the return of Christ. Yet, many prophesied dates have come and gone. And Evil, while more prevalent today, is and always has been a part of the sinful nature of man. While those who’ve been a part of a church understand, to some degree, the Bible’s prophecy of apostasy as end-time events, they apparently still fail to understand the real dilemma. As an element of judgment,  the worst thing that can happen to anyone is to be under the HEARING OF FALSEHOOD: Mt 24:24  For there shall arise FALSE CHRISTS , and FALSE PROPHETS , and shall shew great signs and wonders ; insomuch that, if [] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
